Dr. Wakefield graduated from Ohio State University, School of Dental Medicine in 1988. He then moved to Philadelphia to complete a residency in advanced general practice dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Wakefield served as clinical instructor at the Temple University Dental School, instructing students working with immuno-compromised patients.

Over the years, as his career and practice have grown, Dr. Wakefield has remained current on trends and advancements in dentistry with continuing education and ADA conferences. His experience paired with his drive to keep abreast of the most advances and state-of-the-art technologies influenced his creation of our aesthetic driven practice, as well as the practice’s focus on optimum oral health.

Dr. Wakefield has donated his skills and talents to help raise money for many different causes including fundraising for local civil rights groups. Beyond excellent dentistry, He enjoys bicycling, boating, painting, architecture and most importantly, his new family member, Lukus, an English Springer Spaniel puppy.
